Some children come from very difficult places. They are in foster care, or have been recently adopted, or are otherwise engaged with families who are working to help them overcome obstacles caused by prior trauma and dysfunction. Believe it or not, you may not be ready for these families. Bridge to Belonging is a programme for churches to become better congregations for families of care-experienced children. With a trauma-informed lens, churches today can be a warm and welcome place for all families.
