About us: | The Starfish Alliance is a faith-based (Christian) charity working in the church sector to establish camps and support for children in care. |
About the role:
| The Starfish Alliance supports existing Starfish KIDS Camps while establishing new camps and programmes in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and Ireland. We are seeking a new team member to provide administrative support. Our Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting our team with clerical and administrative tasks. They ensure that employees follow office processes, engage and interact with incoming communications, and represent the organisation to the public. This position comes with opportunities for advancement within the organisation.

Responsibilities: | · Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence · Assisting with safeguarding compliance · Overseeing data entry and management · Engaging and interacting with trainees · Maintaining programme resource databases · Creating and managing content, spreadsheets and presentations · Compiling reports · Managing diaries and travel for team members · Scheduling meetings and taking minutes · Event planning and management · Communicating with partners regularly for resourcing, support, and prayer requests. · Assisting with programme development and support · Communicating with Starfish Alliance staff regularly and attending weekly meetings |
Candidate requirements:
| · Strong communication and relationship building skills (written and in-person) · Ability to use business software (MS Teams, Word, Power Point, Jotform, Canva, etc.) · Strong organisational skills and the ability to self-manage · Understanding of and (preferably) experience serving at a Starfish KIDS Camp · Passion for impacting the lives of children in foster care · A Christian faith and lifestyle are occupational requirements of this position. |
